OCD BEES is our project management tool for businesses to leverage for an efficient, manageable, useful, easy to use program designed to help organization with team members and projects. After years of trying to organize our projects using expensive and cumbersome software, whiteboards, google docs, etc. – we decided to create something to help us keep it all together, and now we’re giving it out for free.
The front-facing site OCDBEES.com is meant to serve as a guide to using the Free Beta tool, pushing users to register a shell at hive.ocdbees.com. We developed a supportive marketing elements like videos, as well as detailed copy and bullet points on why you should use our tool and how to use it as well.
Users can easily request access to OCD BEES Free Beta Version. Once granted access users can start adding team members and creating projects for everybody. Team Members can also add their own profile picture to make it even easier to divide projects.
On the dashboard, you can see everyones tasks and easily see their progress and urgency. Under the tab, “My Tasks,” will be someone’s individual task so they can look at only their work load to stay focused and determined. You can easily add a new Project or a new Task under the project as well! Multiple people can be added to projects and tasks. We have a very simple labeling system in regards to urgency that ranges from “ICE COLD” (not urgent at all) to “PANTS ON FIRE” (do it right NOW).

This time around, we created the app for ourselves to help manage the many projects we have on our plate. Time management and production became so efficient, we actually changed our office hours to give the team longer weekends.
We decided we had to share our tool with others because the world needs longer weekends, and more efficient work processes. Trying to manage yourself on top of other people and their projects can be a pain in the ass and honestly a waste of time.
To spread the word, we’ve created products for our website. T-Shirts, Mugs, Laptop Cases (Oh my!), all with the fun logo that goes along with our unique name.
We also attended the One Spark Festival, the festival dedicated to an creating environment of “creativity and innovation.” This festival is one of the best ways to showcase our project tool. It takes place in Jacksonville, Florida. We quickly got many new clients and great feedback by coming to this event, and we hope that we continue to grow.
