Learning about a new technology can sometimes be really boring and overly technical, and therefore we needed a streamlined, branded strategy that could walk anyone through the key benefits of shipping reefer containers with TOTE. And as we’ve seen on so many sites, no one wants to click next through a slider to learn about key points – so our creative logistics marketing team made an interactive scroller.
To navigate through an interactive scrolling experience, our creative team designed the scrolling section in After Effects and exported the experience in a Lottie file, allowing for our development team to easily embed the experience as frames and control those frames with the scroll of your mouse. Each of the 5 key message points are brought to life through the user’s scrolling, allowing the user to experience the website on their own time and at their own pace.
The custom web experience does a much better job of communicating the technical and business benefits of leveraging TOTE’s reefer shipping technologies, over a typical sales call or traditional print sales slick. It saved sales time by reducing their time on calls or in meetings, when they could just share the link and follow up with a simple call to see if the client had any questions or was ready to ship.
