The “BUBBA summer sweeps campaign” was an integrated marketing initiative that resulted in higher than anticipated engagement results, in almost every marketing channel we manage (see creative and results below). Our Jacksonville-based creative agency provided the initial planning, storyboarding, design comps, keyword strategy, polished UX/UI design, videography, engaging social stories, paid media, and launched event content / custom form processes as part of the primary production effort.
The campaign pulled consumers into a multi-tiered funnel, to engage in newsletter signups and ongoing content distribution, bi-weekly sweepstakes entries, event engagement and coupons, and most importantly – an “add to cart” process to purchase products from their favorite grocery store pickup or delivery service.
Once emails were collected, our Jacksonville creative agency customized bi-weekly emails went out to distribution lists, featuring engaging content such as recipes, new product features, grill tips, and a CTA for sweepstakes entry. The entry was developed to automatically enter the email of the user into the sweepstakes pool with one click, rather than having to provide name, email, address, or really any info at all – the consumer could just click a button to be added to the sweeps. At the end of each month, numerous winners were randomly chosen and contacted to collect their prizes. Our team provided ongoing reporting and optimization to the emails based on engagement data.
Each paid or owned media click, lead users to a custom sign up landing page where emails were captured and instantly added to BUBBA’s mailing list. From there, users were provided a juicy, tasty welcome message from BUBBA, optimized for click-throughs by our creative agency.
Later down the automation line, consumers would click through the sweepstakes CTA in part of our ongoing drip campaign – which would land the users on a custom thank you page, where a countdown to the next giveaway was announced, along with a CTA to add the most recent featured products to cart were displayed.
Our creative agency in Jacksonville designed and developed a custom event landing page to be used specifically on tablet devices at local in-person events, allowing brand ambassadors to connect with and market to brand enthusiasts. This custom page allowed the ambassadors to easily add consumer emails to the list, quickly reload the page once each email was submitted, and incentivize in-person signups with coupons. The page was integrated into our omnichannel funnel, allowing for separate tracking and management of event signups, while also pulling the in-person consumers into the automated drip campaign for sweeps entry – either accessed with a brand ambassador directly or through the use of the QR code posters we designed for the events.
During the summer sweepstakes campaign the brand was able to double new customer emails within the distribution list, vetted through our double-optin email funnel. We had over tens of thousands of sweepstakes entries, an average monthly site traffic increase of 35% throughout the campaign, and a solid conversion rate of users adding products to their carts for either pickup or delivery from their favorite grocery / delivery service.
